Validating Records in the Kiosk
When making multiple entries in the Kiosk Tasks add-on, overlapping task records may occur. To be alerted if this happens, it is important to set up validation in the Kiosk.By configuring the Kiosk Tasks for validation, a new button will appear on the Summary screen.
Configuring Kiosk Tasks Validation
Step 1. Open Labor Settings
On the Production page, open the Settings menu and click on Labor;
Step 2. Open Kiosk Settings
Open the Settings table (a) and, in the Kiosk Tasks Add-on card, click on Validation (b);
Step 3. Validation Options
Four configuration options will appear:
- No validation: the validation button does not appear on the Kiosk Summary screen;
- Pre-validation: the validation button appears on the Kiosk Summary screen but it is not necessary to click it or correct records;
- Mandatory pre-validation: the validation button appears on the Kiosk Summary screen and you must click it, but correcting records is optional;
- Mandatory successful pre-validation: the validation button appears on the Kiosk Summary screen, you must click it and correct the records;
Click Save.
How to Validate Records in Kiosk Tasks
Step 1. Enter Kiosk Tasks
Enter the Kiosk Tasks and record the desired operations;
Step 2. Validate
On the Summary screen, click the Validate button;
Step 3. Overlapping Tasks
If there are overlapping tasks, a warning message will appear;
Step 4. Correct Record
Modify the record by clicking on the incorrect fields;
Step 5. Validate
Click Validate again;
Step 6. Save
If there are no more overlapping tasks, a positive validation message will appear. You can then click Save.
If there are still overlapping tasks, go back to Step 3.
