Initial Steps to Get Started with Wisecrop
Step 1. Georeference the Farm
After creating your Wisecrop account and choosing your crops of interest, it is important to create your digital farm, or as we call it, the Farm.
On the card that appears, you should indicate the location of your Farm.
Step 2. Characterize the Farm
Next, search for your farm on the map and click to mark the location.
After clicking, a menu will open on the right side where you should give a name to the Farm and fill in the area.
To proceed, click Create in the bottom right corner.
Step 3. Add a New Plot
You can now add plots in three ways:
- Drawing mode;
- Import an existing drawing (.kml or .kmz files);
- Import plots from IFAP.
Step 3.a. Drawing Mode
Click on Draw.
Once the map is open, draw the plot. Then complete the form on the right side with the plot name, soil type, and area.
Step 4. Add a Plot
In the previous form, fill in the fields related to Plots.
If you want to add more than one plot, simply click on Add new plot.
