How to import, edit or delete multiple plots simultaneously
This guide shows how to import, delete or update your plot settings in Wisecrop in bulk and simultaneously.
Step 1: Export current settings
First, you need to export your plot settings to obtain the base Excel file.
1. Click the Settings button in the side menu
2. Select the Plots and Subplots option6. Click Request
The Excel file will be sent to your email. The file name will be something like: [Production Unit Name] - Export Settings.xlsx
Step 2: Edit the Excel file
When you receive the email, download the file and open it.
File columns
The file has several columns with information about your plots:
- Column A (Action): Defines what you want to do with each plot
- Column B (ID): Unique identifier of the plot
- Column C (Plot name): Name that identifies the plot
- Column D (Parcel No.): Official parcel number
- Column E (Area): Plot area
- And other columns with additional information
Important rules
⚠️ Please note:
- Never delete or change the data in column B (ID)
- Do not delete any column from the file
- In column A (Action), you can choose:
- Keep - For existing plots you do not want to change
- Edit - For existing plots you want to modify
- Delete - To remove plots
- New - To add new plots
How to edit
- To edit an existing plot: Choose the "Edit" option in column A and change the data in the other columns
- To add a new plot: Choose the "New" option in column A and fill in the information in the remaining columns
When finished, save the file on your computer.
Step 3: Import the edited file
Now let's import the file back into Wisecrop.
1. Return to Wisecrop, on the same Plot tab in settings
2. Click the Import button (next to the Export button)
6. Click the Import button in the bottom right corner
Step 4: Wait for confirmation
The import may take a few minutes, depending on the number of plots.
You will receive an email confirming whether:
- ✅ The import was successful
- ❌ An error occurred during the process
If an error occurs
- Check that you followed all the steps correctly
- Confirm that you did not change the ID column or delete any columns
- Try importing again

- Settings → Plots and Subplots → Plot tab
- Click Export → Export Settings version
- Receive the file by email and edit it
- Do not change the ID column or delete any columns
- Use "keep", "edit", "delete" or "new" in column A
- Save the file
- Click Import → Select IFAP - Ficheiros PU, P3, iE, iSIP
- Upload the file and click Import
- Wait for the confirmation email
