# Wisecrop > The Agricultural Operating System. A Portuguese platform that brings every part of the farm together in one place — from weather to irrigation, from costs to labour — and turns data into decisions. Modular software that fits any crop and any size, from the grower with less than a hectare to operations with thousands. Already supporting more than 6000 growers. Free sign-up, no commitment. ## What Wisecrop is Wisecrop is a Portuguese agtech company that builds the Agricultural Operating System: an online interface that centralises the management of the whole farm in a single place, accessible from phone, computer or tablet. The platform pulls together every data source already on the farm — sensors, weather stations, soil probes, irrigation and fertigation controllers, weighing scales, tractors, satellite and drone imagery — and processes it through apps that hand back indicators that are simple to read. Several AI-powered predictive models flag problems (pests, frost, disease) before they show up. The approach is modular: each grower picks the apps, add-ons and devices that make sense for their reality. And it's open to integrations — as long as a solution collects data and sends it to the cloud, Wisecrop can interpret it and aggregate it, even when it comes from another manufacturer. ## What Wisecrop does for the grower - **Digitalisation** — brings technology to the field to simplify day-to-day management. - **Centralisation** — a single platform to run the whole farm business. - **Efficiency** — optimises every process to save time and resources. - **Sustainability** — helps you produce more with less. - **Collaboration** — makes it easier for staff, teams and outside services to communicate. - **Empowerment** — offers training and tools for sustainable growth. ## How it's organised The Agricultural Operating System rests on three pillars: 1. **Apps** — applications that process the data and support decisions (climate, irrigation, nutrition, etc.). 2. **Add-ons** — specialised tools for specific needs on the farm. 3. **Devices** — hardware that collects precise, real-time data in the field. ## Apps ### Climate Track the weather in real time and anticipate its impact on your crops. Includes geolocated forecasts, climate-risk models (frost, heavy rain, wind gusts), graphical IoT monitoring, custom alerts, logging of phenological stages, climate history and bioclimatic indicators (chill hours, growing degree days, sunshine hours). ### Irrigation Control and optimise irrigation so every drop counts. Includes accumulated rainfall, water-use reports, tailored irrigation recommendations, remote control of the systems, even distribution across sectors, a history of applied irrigation and a water balance. ### Nutrition Plan and follow crop nutrition throughout the season. Includes a fertiliser catalogue (or build your own), a vegetation index from satellite imagery, custom fertilisation plans, a table of applied nutrients and micronutrients, development monitoring and digital integration of lab analyses. ### Plant Health Monitor plant health and detect pests and disease quickly. Includes predictive pest and disease models, guidance on the best spraying conditions, management of applied treatments (safety intervals and biological persistence), trap readings, custom alerts, a catalogue of approved products (SIFITO) and automatic calculation of dosage and spray concentration. ### Field Activities Organise and log every operation in the field, keeping a complete history of activities. ### Labour Manage teams and tasks to optimise work in the field. Includes analysis of working hours, management of the machinery and implement fleet, attendance logging via fingerprint, harvest tracking, custom reports and evaluation of labour performance. ### Costs Control farm costs, analyse expenses and maximise profitability per plot. ## Add-ons - **Task Kiosk** — quick, practical logging of the tasks carried out in the field. - **Fruitrack** — monitors the whole harvest: amounts per worker, traceable batch management, productivity analysis per plot or variety, and harvest reports. - **Tractors** — maps routes and mechanised activities, with performance reports, fuel consumption, maintenance alerts and efficiency analysis. - **Attendance** — a complete system for logging entries and exits, adapted to farm dynamics, with absence alerts, task assignment, working-hours management and syncing with the Labour app. ## Devices Robust hardware for precise, real-time data: - **Weather station** — rainfall, air temperature and humidity, fruit and stem size, leaf wetness; solar-powered. - **Soil and substrate probes** — soil moisture, temperature and electrical conductivity; nutrient level. - **Flow and tank sensors** — irrigation flow and tank quantities in real time. - **Irrigation and fertigation controllers** — schedule, start and stop irrigation remotely; optimise nutrient application. - **Leaf-wetness sensor** — measures leaf moisture to assess plant-health risks. - **GPS module** — high-precision mapping of mechanised activities. - **Field PDA** — compact and rugged, for heavy field use. - **Attendance terminals** (fixed and portable) — automatic logging of worker entries and exits. ## Integrations Wisecrop works with the tools you already use. If you run an ERP or billing system, you can connect it to the platform for centralised management. ## Traceability Monitors the whole production flow, from field to end consumer (production, cold storage, dispatch; harvest, packing, consumer). Improves operational efficiency, cuts waste and allows a fast response to problems. It adds value to the product by guaranteeing transparency and quality — a competitive edge in demanding markets. ## Sustainability Producing sustainably is, for the grower, an opportunity: produce more, spend less and add market value to your products. With the right tools you can optimise water use, cut fertiliser application and protect crops at the right moment — lower costs, less waste, more profitability. ## Who it's for Growers of any size and crop — vegetables, fruit, vineyards, cereals — as well as technicians, producer associations and service providers. A modular solution that adapts to the reality of each farm, from under a hectare to thousands of hectares. ## Plans Sign-up is free and without commitment, giving access to essential features that stay free forever.
